Cathy, Erik, Anders, Halle and Evan: Ahhh, the holidays

The holidays are winding down, and they couldn't have been better. Work looms on Monday, but that is ok. We have enjoyed each and every day of the break and appreciated the time away from the grind. I had too many wonderful pictures to post, and these are only about half of them.....they feature the week of Christmas. The week of New Year's, when we've had Aunt Nissa and Uncle Doug in town, will be coming soon. Christmas with Anders was especially fun this year. He's more into people, and interaction, and Christmas lights, and toys and playing, so it was pretty much nonstop excitement throughout the holidays. We know that our time with two kids is fast approaching (I am now 31 weeks along), so we are relishing our time as a family of three. Things will likely be hectic for a while when the baby girl makes her arrival, and we are excited about that change and all that comes with it. In the meantime though, we're appreciative of the time with Anders and the fact that we have gotten to spend a lot of time as our little family unit in 2009. Here's the little A-man himself, running up the ramp at Mama B and Daddy B's house in Georgia. He loved this ramp! This is where we were on Christmas morning.

Here's Mama B with a lot of the cousins on this side of the family. We missed Becca, Bo, Beth and Ben this year. In this pic, we have McLendon, Carson, Rob, Brad, Greg, McKenzie, Shannon, Mikel Anna, and Mama B.

The few days leading up to Christmas we were in Danville at GrandMary's house. Anders loved her big front yard and the weather was perfect so we played outside a lot. Here we are warming up for one of the many bowl games we watched.

Anders found a perfect rocking chair in GrandMary's living room and would sit here for approximately 1 to 3 seconds at a time before moving onto the next activity.

Anders chilling with his Dad early one morning. He is not the best sleeper on vacation and had two 5:20 a.m. mornings while in GA. But, he's been catching up since we got home, so we have LOVED our two 8 a.m. mornings that we've had this week.
