The weather has begun to cool -- a little. The highs have been in the high 80s instead of the 90s, but the mornings and evenings have had a touch of cool. It's been beautiful, in fact. School is back in session, football has started, and glimpses of fall are all around. We've been as busy as ever, but not in an overwhelming way. Erik is on paternity leave, though he's still working on several projects; however, he's been around a lot. Anders is loving his First Prez preschool experience, and Halle is the queen of therapy -- physical, occupational, speech, vision.... she's got it covered. Some recent highlights: the first Furman game of the year against Colgate -- Anders loved the total experience of the band, cheerleaders and team on the field, followed by a fabulous tailgate with friends; soccer season has started for Anders and he's not a huge fan of shin guards; lots of neighborhood quick visits with Rob, Jaime and Annabelle; visiting with Grandma and Grandpa lots; and playing on the Furman tennis courts.
Anders has said some hilarious and fun things lately. When I went in his room the other morning, he looked at me and said, "I need see Erik Ching." He also sings Old MacDonald had a farm when we drive by McDonalds.
