Our fabulous friend Tatiana came to visit and just like last time she was here, we had too much fun and I forgot to find my camera. Heart-breaking for someone who likes to blog. What was I thinking? Thankfully as she was leaving we got this pic of Tati and Halle-bug hanging out. What we failed to capture was Tatiana and Anders.... who because best buds for three days. In fact, he keeps asking about her. Tati is such a cool, calm person and she let Anders come to her and he took to her big time, wanting to wake her up in the mornings and ignoring his mama for a time.
A few fun Anders sayings of late. He's into hot and cold and says of his oatmeal, "That is Too very hot." or "That's not too very hot today mommy." He's been pretending a lot and he likes to be the puppy or have tea parties with m&m cupcakes and chocolate milk. Sweet tooth came to him honestly. He told us Jesus brought him candy for Easter and has been having fun climbing out of his crib and sneaking downstairs to surprise us. Also, I recently painted his toenails at his request, thinking no one would see them and why tell him no?! But then yesterday he told me "Boys don't paint their toenails, just girls (guh-wuls)." I said, "who told you that?" And he said Blanca did. I followed with "Well, some boys do." and he said "Anders does?" ha ha. Oh well, guess it's time for some lessons on gender.
Tati and Uncle Steve O took Anders one morning and went for a walk on the Swamp Rabbit trail. They saw a freight train and ever since then Anders has been playing with "freight trains" and loading them with "coal."

We got to have another really fun adventure when Beau Mercer had his third bday party at the Greer Fire Station. 2.5 and 3 are such fun ages. The boys are talking up a storm but still so sweet and snuggly with their moms and dads, still letting us kiss their boo-boos. Anders has talked a ton about his visit to the fire station.
