We have been loving the early spring that has descended upon Greenville. Anders is a generally happy kid, but he's even more content when he can be an outdoors-man. He wants to be outside as much as possible these days. And Halle's been right along with him, enjoying the sunshine in her stroller. Spring has lifted our moods and we have had plenty of fun times. Erik went to El Salvador for Furman's Spring Break, and we survived! We are Glad he got to go and now are GLAD he is home! Mama C and Pops spent the week with us (whew, and fun), and we survived a Halle Cat fever, some rainy days, and even made it to Beth and Franklin's wedding in North Georgia.... how brave of us!! Thanks to Pops who drove in pouring rain. We loved being there for the special day and the extended family time. Here's Anders thinking, "Why are you taking my picture? and Can't I read my magazine in peace?" We love that he enjoys "reading" catalogs.

Pops holding the little miss. A frequent sight last week!

Here's the sweetest of the sweet. Anders was so happy the morning Erik got home. He didn't scream or shout, he just looked overwhelmed. "Oh hey daddy. Glad you're back. Like to play with me?" He proceeded to shadow him for hours.

More of their sweet reunion

We are working so hard on getting Halle to sit in a bumbo. Honestly, we are WEEKS or MONTHS away, but here is a brief moment where her head was held up. She flopped a few seconds after this, but here's a picture of what we hope will happen more often!

Bumbo Baby!! It's SO sweet to see her this way.

Hah! This is what potty training looks like in our house. Can anyone tell me how you get a kid who NEVER sits down to sit on a potty?! He's maybe remotely interested but not even a chocolate bribe can get him to sit for more than a minute.

Big Baby!

Halle loves loves loves to snuggle with Grandma Ching. It's so sweet.

MORE snuggling! Have chest, will snuggle!

Here's Halle with her early interventionist/vision therapist Patrice getting tired from a big workout. She's a hard worker.

Peace.

Aunt/cousin Becca came to visit while she was down in GA from Chicago. We loved having her here for a day. I was kicking myself for not taking more pics. We were having fun and I only remembered my camera with 3 minutes to go until her departure. Here she and A-man are saying their farewell.

Aunt Bec and Halle girl

Out for a stroll. Anders is a good pusher.
