Now that Anders is moving, we're all on the move. He's crawling, scooting and pulling up everywhere and so step by step he is baby proofing our house for us. We have been having so much fun. Some of the things we have done this week: a couple of swim sessions at Grandma and Grandpa Ching's pool, dinner at Barley's, picnic at Furman, a dip in the pool at White Oaks, a trip to Costco, dancing in the living room, jogging in the neighborhood, and much more. He also says "kee-caaa" whenever he sees Smash the Cat. When I was a little tyke, I used to crawl around with a bottle hanging out of my mouth. I never told Anders about this, yet.... he has emulated my style!

The A-man can crawl and sip at the same time.

Hey Mom!!!!

This week Blanca, his sitter, and I have been working on his clap. But, he pretty much only responds to the Spanish (Columbian Spanish) word for clap: arepitas, which is the word for tortilla. Here he is showing off his clap.

The second half of the clap. You can look above and below quickly and see it in action.

Smash had his tail pulled one too many times and hid in a box.

Pulling up. Making me nervous. He's still wobbly-legged.

Playing some rock n roll at the music table. Spinning some records.

So, it's nonstop fun around our house. It's summertime, the days are long, and we're just soaking it all in. The world is a crazy place, sad at times, and we don't always understand it (well, a lot of the time). We hope you, the reader, are doing well, wherever you are.
